Wudang Xing Yi Quan(form-and-will boxing)

Wudang Xingyiquan is one of the most three famous Wudang boxing. It was produced in late Ming Dynasty and became popular in Late Qing Dynasty with a history of more than 300 years. It was widely spread and had a great influence on Chinese kungfu.

Xingyiquan has gradually became a relatively complete system of theory by continuously being studied, practiced, summarized, improved by people from one generation to another. Although there are different kinds of forms, the essences are somewhat connected.

The practitioners are to manage the qi with his will, lead the strength by the Qi to make form and will mix together with each other. One can make both his body and character improved by regulating his form and will. Its scientific law represents the essence of our traditional Wudang Taoist culture.

By practicing Xingyiquan, one can strengthen his body, improve his character as well as gain actual combating skills. In the history, many respected ancestors are praised to have removed the evil, done good to people and the country by using Xingyiquan. Currently, Xingyiquan and its spirit are becoming more and more popular. It is popular with the Taoist priests in Wudang Mountain.
